Canada’s oldest cinema in Listowel is closed after an accident on Wednesday.
A driver lost control of their vehicle at around 3:30pm and hit the side of the building.
Capitol Twin took to social media yesterday to say the theatre will be closed until further notice with a structural inspection pending.
There was damage to the car and the building with the driver taken to hospital.
OPP are determining the cause of the crash.
Capitol Twin Cinema was first built in 1870, having been a theatre since 1907
