This week kicks off Canadian Agriculture Safety week.
An annual campaign to help promote safe and strong farm practices. This year more than ever, kids are on farms with schools being closed off and on and not many programs available, President of the Perth County Federation of Agriculture, Tim Halliday says keeping your kids safe on the farm is always a must.
“Kids are around farms a lot more right now. We aren’t out in the community as much and some programs for kids aren’t running. So it’s very important to keep our kids safe on our farms.” said Halliday.
