If you’re expecting packages to your home but are receiving emails or texts from Canada Post about delivery issues, officials say this is nothing more than a scam.
Locally as of late, residents have shared suspected messages from Canada Post of an undelivered parcel but due to nobody being home and no safe place to drop it off are requesting a reschedule and providing a link to do so.
Officials urges residents to not open the link and to delete any emails or texts they receive.
Canada Post will only leave a delivery notice card at your door or mailbox and not contact you by email unless you have requested it.
More information on Canada Post scams are available from their website.
