Eligible Canadian seniors aged 75 and older will get a boost in their pension.
The federal government has increased the Old Age Security pension by 10 per cent for seniors aged 75 and older.
This marks the largest increase to Old Age Security since 1973 and will give full pensioners around $800 over the first year.
No action is required for seniors to benefit, the increase will be done automatically
