CAA Survey Shows Ontario Drivers Admit to Unsafe Behaviors

Drivers admit to having seen bad driving practices

A CAA survey shows Ontario motorists have admitted to unsafe driving behavior.

Those surveyed noted to speeding, distracted or aggressive driving across provincial roadways. 95 percent of those surveyed also answering they had witnessed similar behavior from other drivers.

Many have argued there needs to be more steep penalties for stunt and aggressive driving.

Manager of Government Relations for CAA South-Central Ontario, Raymond Chan saying changes were recently introduced under the Moving Ontarians More Safely Act to target stunt drivers with repeat offenders facing fines as heavy as a permanent license suspension.
