The Communities of Stratford, Perth County and St. Marys say they are committed to ending chronic homelessness it heir communities but are asking for residents help.
They say that collectively there are 119 households experiencing chronic homelessness locally and they want to reduce it by 15% before the end of 2021.
They are asking any landlords with units to rent to contact them to partner up. They are offering incentives such as rental payment guarantees, assistance for any financial issues that may arise, compensation for any non-wear and tear damages and weekly check-ins.
