The Ontario Energy Minister, Todd Smith were in Perth East today along with local dignitaries, MPP for Perth-Wellington Randy Pettapiece and Enbridge officials to announce an expansion of natural gas into the Region by the company.
The project will see 44 households in Brunner and the areas around connected to natural gas at an estimated cost of $814,000.
The move comes as a smaller part of a larger announcement of a $234 million dollar second phase expansion of Ontario’s Natural Gas distribution system. The total number of connections for the larger investment is 8750.
