Book vending machines in Mount Forest and Fergus’ sports complexes are being removed.
First purchased in 2018 at a cost of $37,000 each, the machines are available for library card holders for books and DVDs but are being taken out due to a variety of technical issues.
The number of those using the machines has also been rather low.
While the plan is to remove them from the sports complexes, there isn’t a known date for when they will be taken.
