North Perth Fire kept busy over the weekend, including a carbon monoxide alarm call.

An individual had reported they having a headache, a common symptom of carbon monoxide positioning with a CO detector finding the presence of CO in the home.

Fire stations in Atwood and Monkton responded to the call and discovered the chimney in the home was blocked.

North Perth Fire is reminding residents to make sure they keep their chimneys cleaned and maintained as a blocked chimney can lead to carbon monoxide leaking into your home.
