It’ll be another big year in Listowel for the BIA.
Among some big efforts seen in 2023 from promotional events and beautification efforts while also growing a digital presence.
During small business week, 6 small business owners were featured in a social media campaign and now the BIA looks to keep going for 2024.
The budget for the year looks at 5 per cent increase from last year, an increase of around $6200. In 2023 the BIA was given an operating budget of $120,000.
BIA Coordinator Alyssa Kuepfer says the increase will be put to good use.
“I’d like to highlight that for 2024 the board is considering projects like bike racks, public seating and a branding refresh.” said Kuepfer.
As far as if the BIA will receive its request as part of the budget will be found out during the continued budget process for North Perth.
