Between the Lines is looking to help send kids to camp this summer in memory of a friend.
Reid Anderson passed away in August last year who is remembered as a kind, inclusive and energetic camper who attended Between the Lines celebration camp.
To honour Anderson, Between the Lines has opened up applications for the Reid Anderson Memorial Fund for the next five summers to sponsor 2 children to go to camp who may not have the means to do so otherwise.
Camp Coordinator Vienna van Veen says helping others enjoy sports and camp is a perfect way to remember Anderson.
“What made Reid happy was inclusion in sports, he was a huge sports fanatic so we thought how to live him on was to make other people happy and participate in sports.” said van Veen
Those interested in applying for the memorial fund are encouraged to reach out to Vienna at [email protected]
If spots for camps this summer have already been filled, they will be saved for next summer.
