Wellington North and the Arthur Optimist Club have announced a 15 year lease agreement between the township and the Club for the Arthur Seniors Hall.
The agreement will see the optimist club pay the township just $1 per year annually on July 1st.
The club will operate the hall, take care of capital expenditures and handle general maintenance and cleaning who will also receive revenue generated from the facility.
Scott Densmore, President of the Arthur Optimist Club says they plan to hold various fundraising events at the hall throughout the year with plans to hold an open house this summer.
