There are reports that residents in the area have been calling area pharmacies that have been identified as locations for vaccination clinics for those 55 years and older.
The Provincial government made the announcement on Thursday expanding the number of locations offering the AstraZeneca vaccine directly in the community.
Medical Officer of Health for Huron Perth Dr. Miriam Klassen said at the time the vaccine distribution to pharmacies will be direct and they have no additional information on the roll out.
“My understanding is they’ve also just found out about they will be awaiting information about when the vaccine is to be delivered.”
