Volunteers with the annual Thames River Cleanup have returned to their work across the Upper Thames River Watershed after a two year break from the pandemic.
The vast majority of the cleanup is mostly plastic across the banks of rivers, streams and lakes with volunteers taking the call to keep the area clean with this year taking place on April 23rd with more asked to answer the call and join the cleanup.
Residents who are interested in volunteering to help clean the river banks, streams, lakeshores and drainage ditches across the community are asked to visit ThamesRiverCleanup.com.
