Students with the Avon Maitland District School Board made a visit to Ottawa recently, joined by Director of Education Lisa Walsh being escorted with students taking part in a program to learn more about the work of the Governor General of Canada.
Students in their visit much of the work of Mary May Simon, Canada’s Governor General with students also participating in a variety of activities.
Among them will include this afternoon as they prepare for a luncheon with Simon.
