The Avon Maitland District School Board will be ending its short term online learning option following March Break.
The Ministry of Education had directed the school board to create a short term learning option on December 30th in response to the Omicron variant and for families who didn’t want to commit to a full term or semester of online learning.
Students will be able to opt to finish the school year completely with remote learning or return in person.
Around 390 students across the school board are doing full remote learning this year.
