Kyla Perry has been named as the Luella Logan Scholarship Award winner.
The scholarship which has been awarded for the last 7 years is given to a young woman in Wellington County in post secondary studies in political science, public administration or a related undergraduate or graduate degree at a Canadian college or university with a scholarship of $1500.
Kyla curretly attends the University of Ottawa.
Past Warden Barbara Tocher has also been named as the seventh annual Luella Logan Award for Outstanding Service by a Woman in Politics who will receive a donation of $1500 to a charity of her choice, who has selected East Wellington Community Service.
Barbara served multiple terms on local and County council including as Reeve of Erin township, Mayor of Erin and was Warden of Wellington County in 1999.
