Wellington North has reopened Murphy Park in Mount Forest following to the detection of avian influenza in the area.
The township closed the park last week after the detection.
The township says while the risk to humans is low they are still urging caution saying if you find a dead or sick wild bird to not touch it and keep pets and children away and report it to the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative.
The township says they appreciate the patience during the temporary closure.
