The Town of St Mary’s is continuing their work with renovations at the aquatics centre.
Work first began in November of last year and it is expected to reopen completely this fall as work remains on schedule.
Work at the aquatics centre includes the installation of HVAC ductwork, installation of new windows, new paint for the pool space and change rooms as well as the removal of all scaffolding.
Stephanie Ishe, Director of Community Services says they understand people are eager to come back and they are dedicated to completing the renovations to ensure the aquatics centre improvements endure.
The Pyramid Recreation Centre will continue to remain open for regular hours and continue to offer recreation and leisure activities.
