While there might not be a full official community run taking place this year, Listowel is still taking in donations and support for the annual Terry Fox Run.
Helping raise money for cancer research and widely done across the country, this would mark the first in a long run where there has been no true community run taking place in Listowel with the Terry Fox Run being done across Canada on September 14th.
However residents are still welcome to represent the town, take part in their own way and collect funds with a goal in Listowel to raise $11,000.
As of Tuesday morning, just under $3000 has been raised in Listowel.
