Wellington County is partnering up with Uber to help boost their RIDE WELL program.
The county wide transit service runs very similar to Uber where app users can request a ride and with the partnership will add interactive voice response to add onto RIDE WELL.
Approved during Tuesday’s Economic Development Committee meeting, staff say Uber integration and the voice response will work in short term ways to optimize RIDE WELL.
This comes at a time before County council discusses on how to move forward with the program when the pilot project ends next year in March.
