There is plenty on the dock for North Perth council this evening, including the adoption of the Diversity, Equity and Anti-Racism Charter.
In the 2021, Perth County took a large process to develop the charter with many steps being taken including with the public.
County council approved the charter in June 2021.
As it stands currently, the recommendation is for North Perth to adopt the charter, have all departments incorporate the charter into the work plans and establish a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee.
