The Stratford-Perth Museum has received nearly $50,000 from an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant to bring back visitors with a set of live shows at the museums new outdoor and indoor theatre.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae was joined with museum general manager John Kastner to hand the $49,900 grant for the museum as part of the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Community Building Fund.
A good portion of the grant has gone in support of the new Player’s Backstage outdoor theatre and indoor Cooperators Performance Theatre.
The indoor theatre also provides a space for events, activities and school field trips.
