Starting Wednesday, the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance’s COVID-19 Assessment Centre in Stratford at the Rotary Complex is expanding service.
The expansion will include physician assessment for patients of all ages who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and meet the requirements for in-depth examination.
Physicians will be at the assessment centre Monday-Friday from 12pm-7:30pm. Tests for COVID-19 are by appointment only and must meet certain requirements.
Criteria includes being contacted by public health, working in a setting which has an outbreak or belonging to a specific group outlined in guidance from the Chief Medical Officer of Health such as workers or visitors of long term care homes and farm workers.
