Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson has been named the newest Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Thompson will take over the role from Ernie Hardeman.
Thompson previously served as the Minister of Government and Consumer Services which will be filled by MPP for Sault Ste. Marie, Rosario Romano.
Thompson saying she is very humbled to be given the new position and is pledging to Ontario’s agri-food sector and rural communities.
