Huron Perth Public Health updated the status of Covid-19 in the Region today. This is the last update prior to January 2nd.
In Huron there is 10 new cases in South Huron and 1 in North Huron.
In Perth there are 5 in North Perth and 1 in St. Marys.
There are 5 Long-Term Care Homes in Outbreak.
Braemar Retirement Centre in North Huron has 1 Staff positive.
Caressant Care in North Perth has 1 Staff positive.
Exeter Villa in South Huron has 14 residents and 6 staff positive.
Hillside Manor has 1 staff positive.
Knollcrest Lodge in Perth East has 2 staff positive.
There are 2 Retirement Homes still in outbreak.
Exeter Villa Retirement Home has 1 resident positive.
Cedarcroft Place is still in outbreak but hasn’t had a chance in case numbers.
Listowel Memorial Hospital is still in Outbreak. They sit at 5 patients and 9 staff positive of the virus.
The Province reported 3328 new cases in Ontario. This number was on just under 64,000 tests being conducted.
The GTHA represented just under 57 percent of new cases.
