The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance has announced effective tomorrow they are changing their visiting practices.
Patients admitted to any inpatient unit are permitted to have 1 essential caregiver per day between noon and 8pm.
There is a limit of 2 total caregivers per stay in the hospital. They are classified as more than a casual visitor and must be necessary for the well-being of the patient.
The eligibility will be determined by the patient’s care team and the Facility COVID Supervisor.
You MUST wear a mask at all times and keep in mind physical distancing guidelines.

Outpatients in the categories of pediatric, obstetrical, emergency or oncology will be allowed 1 essential caregiver.
