Fundraising for the Listowel Memorial Arena Park site has gotten off to a decent start which has now breaking to its quarter mark of the total needed.
The goal of $1.4 million has seen donations pour in from online to various events seen in person going back towards the memorial arena park.
Fundraising jumped online from the municipal website as a formed committee looks to continue growing for the park.
The park, regardless of its final design will pay memory to the family and community members involved who were impacted by the 1959 tragedy.
