OPP Respond to Incident Involving Hunters in Huron East

Accused to appear in court at a later date

Huron County OPP have charged a Huron East resident with uttering threats following an incident involving two hunters.

On February 21st just before 11:30am, OPP were contacted by a hunter on Beechwood Line who was hunting coyotes.

The hunter had reported an interaction he had with another hunter who had threatened him and his dogs.

Officers were able to locate and arrest the accused without incident.

A 76 year old from Huron East has been charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Uttering Threats Danger to Injure an Animal.

The accused will appear in Goodrich court at a later date.
