Wellington County OPP have seized drugs after a R.I.D.E. check in Mount Forest.
At approximately 1:20 am last Wednesday officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. check on Main Street near Grant Street in Mount Forest.
Police detected the smell of marihuana emanating from the vehicle. During the investigation police observed a joint and plastic baggie containing marihuana bud.
Further searches of the vehicle located a large quantity of Canadian currency as well as digital scales and several glass jars containing marihuana bud.
A 25 year old male from Whitby and a 25 year old of Ajax have been charged with possess for the purpose of distributing and driving with cannabis readily available.
Both are to appear in January to answer to charges.
