Four people died across OPP patrolled roadways over the long weekend as numbers across the province come in from Operation Impact.
The campaign which ran over the course of Thanksgiving saw over 8800 traffic charges laid, most of which clocked in for speeding at 4518.
158 stunt driving charges were laid as well as 170 impaired operation with 130 distracted driving and 377 seat belt charges laid.
From January 1st-October 12th, police have responded to 244 fatal crashes which has led to 279 lives lost in what OPP say are all preventable road incidents.
