Wellington County OPP have charged a 37 year old after an assault took place in Mapleton.
On December 17th at around 4:45pm, Wellington County OPP received a report of an assault at an address on Elora Street East.
Police arrived to find a victim with minor injuries and did not need medical attention.
After a brief struggle with police the suspect was arrested.
The 37 year old of Mapleton has been charged with Mischief, Assault, Assaulting a Peace Officer and two counts of Failure to Comply with a Probation Order.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
