Huron County OPP have charged a 28 year old male South Huron resident with Impaired Operation after a traffic stop just outside Wingham this morning.
At approximately 1:42am a pickup truck south of Wingham was stopped after officers noticed it matched a description of a vehicle seen earlier driving erratically.
Upon speaking with the driver officers noted driver had consumed alcohol. A roadside screening test by the driver registered a fail. This was confirmed by an Intoxilizer Technician with two further tests when the driver was taken there following arrest.
The accused has since been released and is set for a June 20th court appearance in Goderich.
