A 21 year old has been charged after a case of intimate partner violence involving a weapon in North Perth.
On November 13th just after 11:30pm, Perth County OPP responded to a home in Listowel after receiving a report of someone wielding a weapon and threatening to harm his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend.
The suspect fled the scene when police arrived.
The next day police located the suspect who was arrested with a search finding meth on his person.
The 21 year old man has been charged with Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Possession of a Schedule I Substance.
The accused appeared in court and was remanded into custody.
