Huron County OPP are laid a charge against a 19 year old after a threat was made against a student in an elementary school.
On May 4th at around 9:27am, Huron OPP received information from elementary school staff in Central Huron that a student had been threatened on the evening of May 3rd.
The threat made by the suspect included attending the school harming the victim and their friends. Officers met with staff and officials to ensure the safety of staff and students during investigation.
As a result a 19 year old from Central Huron was arrested and charged with Criminal Harassment – Threatening Conduct.
The accused is being held in custody with a bail hearing later today.
OPP say there is no further safety concerns for staff or students.
