Firearms have been seized following a search warrant in Perth South.
On August 13th, Stratford police conducted a search at a home regarding the unsafe storage of firearms.
The search turned up around 165 firearms, all of which were seized.
Around 65 of the guns were handguns which were in the restricted or prohibited class of firearms.
Further a large amount of ammunition, gun powder and various gun parts were also taken.
As a result a 69 year old man was arrested and charged with Careless Use of a Firearm and will appear in court next month.
