Last year Patrick Armstrong and Dave Matheson walked 100 kilometers in 22 hours as part of 100k In a Day all in the name of the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund.
100K In a Day is set to return June 4th this year which will have over 25 families of the fallen who the fund has donated in memory of.
The fund works towards donating defibrillators in the name of fallen police, firefighters, paramedics and military members.
Armstrong, while out in the wind says the fund has seen its benefits to save lives.
“From the donations, over 6 lives have been saved and we’re proud to be working on our donations for this year” said Armstrong.
