Heading to Wellington County council later this morning is a proposal to get 10 new speed cameras installed as part of an automated speed enforcement trial.
In October last year it was proposed these locations at the community safety zones would be implemented by September 2025 and staff would come back with timing for these locations.
Most of these sites where cameras would sit would be near schools such as in Wellington North on Wellington Road 16 near a Mennonite school and McGivern Street in Mapleton near Maryborough Public School.
