During last nights council meeting, North Perth council heard from Sean Yilmaz who discussed Xplornets proposal on a communication tower to be built in Gowanstown.
Sean Yilmaz says there have not been any public questions or concerns nor from staff and are ready to move forward.
“Staff has no concerns pertaining to the consultation process associated with the proposal…as such staff is recommending that council concur the resolution and enter in a letter of undertaking.” said Yilmaz
The tower installation will be a triangular structure, 45m in height occupying a footprint of 3 metres by 3 metres. The tower will also have an anti-climb mechanism. Transmitting and receiving antenna equipment will be mounted on the upper portion of the structure.
Council agreed with proposal carried 10-0 to erect a communication tower installation on Part Lot 19 & 20 Concession 6 (5791, Line 89) in Gowanstown.
