The Western Ontario Wardens Caucus, similar to many local municipalities have returned from the ROMA Conference in Toronto, advancing municipal priorities.
The caucus met with Parliamentary Assistant Silvia Gualiteri with the Ministry of the Solicitor General discuss challenges with the Vulnerable Sector Checks, Associate Minister Sam Oosterhoff (Ministry of Energy and Mines) to discuss broadband and cellular infrastructure priorities for Southwestern Ontario.
WOWC also met with Hydro One staff looking at opportunities for ongoing collaboration on regional infrastructure and energy initiatives.
