Every elementary student in Perth County will get their fix of chocolate milk thanks to proceeds from World Milk Day on June 1st.
Monday marked the start of the tour for Dave and Doug Johnston who with the support from Carson Farms and the Kocher family who donated back proceeds from the calf won at auction were able to raise over $5000 for the local school milk program.
Dave Johnston says with the total it should ensure every student is included.
“We’re hoping every elementary aged child in Perth County in the next week will get a free carton of chocolate milk compliments of World Milk Day” said Johnston.
The Johnston’s started their tour in Listowel and moved across the northern parts of the county with plans to hit Stratford, Mitchell and St Marys areas soon.
