An event next week hosted by the Upper Grand and Mount Forest Family Health Teams is diving deep on the importance of farming and mental health.
The “Talk. Ask. Listen” event will be held on November 22nd from 10am-3pm at the Arthur county library, a workshop which has been created by farmers for farmers.
In a release, its stated rural health care providers understand the farming community is experiencing things much differently than earlier generations with balancing family, business, finances, off farm income and more can take a heavy toll.
Organizers want to share the message of hope and help when things become overwhelming for farmers.
