Huron-Perth was skipped over during the provinces recent workplace inspection blitz.
Instead, a detour was taken with a stop in Kitchener-Waterloo to check in with businesses in the region to ensure all COVID-19 guidelines are being followed. Nearly half of businesses checked in Kitchener-Waterloo were found to not be COVID compliant.
Of the 119 businesses checked, only 65 were were following all health measures. Huron-Perth will face inspection this weekend
