Work is now underway for the construction of Nichol Park on Twamley Street West.
Work will continue over the course of the fall with the park expected to open next spring.
For safety reasons the park lands will be closed during construction and give the contractor the space and time to complete the work safely and provide time for turf and landscaping to become established before the park opens up.
Those around the area can expect to see increased presence of construction vehicles and some construction related noise.
