Wellington County OPP are looking to confirm the well being of a person was heard screaming for help on Sunday near the Harriston Greenway Trail.
On Sunday at around 2:45pm police responded to a report of someone possibly in distress on William Street West in Harriston with a witness saying they heard a women’s voice screaming help in the distance.
A large police presence was seen in the area of William Street West and the Harriston Greenway Trial.
Police searched the area with emergency services but did not find anyone.
