Like most Remembrance Day Ceremonies, Wingham’s will be closed to the public.
Wingham Legion Branch 180 said due to COVID-19 the tough choice had to be made but they will try to live stream the ceremony at the cenotaph on their Facebook page.
Wreaths will laid in advance, donors names will be read out loud instead of being the ones to lay the wreaths. Names of the fallen, 2 minutes of silence and the Last Post will be observed as is done every year.
