The Wingham and District Hospital will once again see an emergency department closure.
Due to a health human resource shortage, the ED will close at 6am on Friday and reopen on Saturday at 8am.
Paramedics remain available during the closure and will re-route to the nearest open emergency department.
Nearby hospitals include Listowel, Palmerston, Seaforth and Clinton.
The Listowel-Wingham Hospitals Alliance says this temporary measure is one they regret to have to make.
