A large amount of blue-green algae found on the shore of the reservoir at the Wildwood Conservation Area has closed the beach in the area.
The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority says the beach will stay closed for the rest of the season.
With another day of warmer weather in the forecast, its not expected for conditions to improve on the water.
Huron Perth Public Health has been contacted about the algae with signs being posted across the area.
