West Perth is celebrating Local Government Week and sharing with the community just how deep the municipality goes to serve the community.
Mayor Walter McKenzie says local governments are the closest touchstone residents have to decision making in their communities, saying West Perth prides itself on working together for the betterment of the whole community.
Local Government Week was established to increase youth and public awareness of the role local government plays in the community.
