The Wellington County OPP responded to the scene of a structure fire yesterday morning at approximately 1am.
Officers arrived to the scene on Wellington Road 17, west of Alma to find a barn containing cattle fully engulfed.
Centre Wellington, Mapleton and Woolwich Fire along with Guelph Wellington Paramedics also responded to the scene.
Wellington Road 17 remained closed for fire operations throughout the night. There were no injuries reported however 67 head of cattle are reported to have been lost in the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
